The Streaming Giant Casts Perfect Star for Bentham in One Piece Season 3
The Secret Organization is set to exert significant influence in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, although the major clash isn’t set to occur until the next season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has just been cast.
Netflix announced recently that Cole Escola will appear in the One Piece cast for the third season and will play Mr. 2. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and prefers they/them pronouns, will play a version of that role reimagined as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag queen, in the live-action series, as in the source material and cartoon version.
Escola will work alongside several other fresh additions set to bring Baroque Works to the screen, including head the main antagonist, brought to life by the seasoned performer, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and a familiar face, who will appear as the lineup as the monarch of the fictional land.
Even though the role is a key figure of Baroque Works, the persona won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment.
