This return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement across the community. From the one-by-one reveal of newcomers ahead of the game's release, to trainers developing firm opinions on the entire roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

With numerous of the Super Forms showcasing distinctive appearances that highlight their personalities, one idea came to mind: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Super Form and astrological sign that inspire the greatest apprehension. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as always angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being fun, light-hearted, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram much more akin to Super Camerupt, which solely erupts when provoked. Stay on the friendly side of either and enjoy a powerful partner; if you cross them, be ready to face the consequences.

The Bull – Super Heracross

Similar to a loyal Taurus, the steadfast Heracross species, whether in its standard and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, both the creature and a Taurus are still Fighting types, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unashamed passion for snacks. Many past official descriptions note their craving for tasty tree sap and how it employs its horn to collect it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.

The Scales – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, empathetic being, who employs the sensors on its ears to tell how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the peace, there are numerous Libras who would likely appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. However, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress even more about others.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and swore retribution on its former owner. Per the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpio friends. A Scorpion loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal match with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly staging a show. As a Sagittarius myself, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly small jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Super Form, its description even notes how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Super Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to predict calamities ahead of time? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently think they’re right. The thing is, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very initial Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Mega trend.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-fire placement that is most like a fire sign – its counterpart is Leo, and there are countless jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being chaotic partners in crime.
